To inform your customers of the right price and to promote your products, electronic shelf labels (ESL) can be a valuable addition to the core of your store.

Configure ESL in Colleqtive

To enable ESLs in your Colleqtive Apps for Retail, following these steps:

  1. Activate your ESL module
  2. Configure the ESL server for your Stores
  3. Configure ESL highlighting and updating
  4. Set ESL settings and alert levels
  5. Set Highlight settings

Once configured, the ESL module visibility can be configured from both App Configuration (Show ESL) and App Role configuration.


Activate your ESL module

ESL is available as an additional module, extending your Advanced or Enterprice Plan. In order to activate the module, please contact your sales representative. The Colleqtive Apps for Retail ESL module currently supports these ESLs.


Configure the ESL server for your Stores

The following ESL configurations are supported:

  1. Single ESL server, for all Stores
  2. Multiple ESL servers, one for every Store
  3. Hybrid setup
Single ESL server, for all Stores

To setup a single ESL server, for all Stores, add the ESL Server Path to your in App Configuration.

Multiple ESL servers, one for every Store

To setup multiple ESL server, one for each Stores, add the ESL Server Path to each of your Stores, under Store configuration.

Hybrid setup

In a hybrid setup, add the ESL Server Path to your in App Configuration. This will be used as the default path for all Stores. To create alternative paths for specific stores, add the ESL Server Path to each of the applicable Stores, under Store configuration. The Store configuration will override the Settings configuration.


Configure ESL highlighting and updating

The following ESL features are supported:

  1. Highlight a specific ESL, on demand
  2. Highlight ESLs, when opening a Product detail tab
  3. Highlight ESLs from any Search result or List
  4. Highlight ESLs: Counting Assignment
  5. Highlight ESLs: Collect
  6. Highlight ESLs: Recall


Highlighting ESLs is available for each of the following modules:

Set ESL settings and alert levels

The following settings and threshold values can be configured:

Set Highlight settings

The following values can be used to configure ESL highlighting:

SITTARD – Colleqtive Apps for Retail opent per 1 januari een nieuwe vestiging in Sittard-Geleen. Op deze locatie zullen de Nederlandse software ontwikkelingen voor Retail Apps gevestigd worden. Niels van Golden, algemeen directeur Colleqtive, vertelt: “Door het groeiend aantal medewerkers uit de regio Zuid-Limburg was het openen van een nieuwe locatie een logische stap. In PITground hebben we een schitterende locatie gevonden, die uitstekend bereikbaar is en precies de uitstraling heeft die past bij ons bedrijf: een duurzame, multifunctionele en toekomstgerichte plek.” Over Colleqtive Met 20 medewerkers zorgt Colleqtive dat winkelmedewerkers sneller en efficiënter kunnen werken met behulp van slimme apps.
