To increase security and user management, you can use Azure Active Directory for identity and access management in designated Apps.

Setup Azure AD

To setup Azure AD identity and user management, the following steps are required:

  1. Create Roles using the manifest definition file
  2. Grant rights to Azure AD Users
  3. Configure settings for the Colleqtive Store App


Create Roles using the manifest definition file

  1. In your browser, open the Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to Admin Roles to manage administrative roles
  3. Click Create new role to add the 'Store App'
  4. Save your setup


Grant rights to Azure AD Users

  1. In your browser, open the Admin Console.
  2. Navigate to Users and select the User you would like to grant access.
  3. Under Roles, set the Assigned state for the 'Store App' to Assigned.
  4. Save your setup


Configure Store App settings

  1. In your browser, open the Retail Portal.
  2. Login with a Settings User Role
  3. Under App Configuration, navigate to 'login'
  4. Set the value to 'azuread'
  5. Save your setup


Now, you can assign rights to your App Roles.

Once you save your setup, your prior identity management service is not longer available. Any granted access rights will become invalid. Upon the next login, only authorized Azure AD Users are allowed to login to the Store App.


Based on your Azure AD security restrictions, logging in can now be enhanced, including two-factor authentication, among which Text-message validation or Microsoft Authenticator.

SITTARD – Colleqtive Apps for Retail opent per 1 januari een nieuwe vestiging in Sittard-Geleen. Op deze locatie zullen de Nederlandse software ontwikkelingen voor Retail Apps gevestigd worden. Niels van Golden, algemeen directeur Colleqtive, vertelt: “Door het groeiend aantal medewerkers uit de regio Zuid-Limburg was het openen van een nieuwe locatie een logische stap. To increase security and user management, you can use IP-range restrictions for identity and access management in designated Apps. Please note: IP range filtering, without specific username/ password login is not a secured approach. We recomend using user based login features, such as Azure AD or Google G-Suite login.
